After many years in the family hospitality business, Jodi and Larry Fundler decided to continue in the hospitality in the coffee industry.  The Caldwell area where they raised their family lacked a Specialty Coffeehouse.  The coffee industry shares many of the values that Jodi and Larry loved about working in hospitality-warmth, community and of course, excellent service.   So in May of 2017 Jola Coffee was born at 15 Bloomfield Avenue, North Caldwell.

 

After researching many different coffee roasters, Jodi and Larry found Counter Culture Coffee.  There emphasis on sustainability, coffee education, and high quality coffee ethically sourced from farms where the roasters created relations with the farmers made them a perfect fit for Jola.  Jola Coffee proudly serves Counter Culture Coffee exclusively.
